Thank you for the new year's reminder to find and focus on the true intention of our dance/art/lives. Although my journey began many years ago, it wasn't until last year at the Deb Rubin intensive weekend with you that I felt myself finally mentally shift to the "right" road--the road where I was honoring my own intention and passion instead of secretly worrying if I would be accepted if I really just did what I felt in my heart, instead of just hinting at it. It's very bumpy sometimes and I find my ego-self stepping in to force me into those mindless drills, influence my costume or music choices, determine what I teach in my classes. But I remember and state my true intention and am happy to find myself moving forward again. Happy new year, Christina!
