It all started with a demonstration for an open house at the Centre of Elgin. Five of Christina's students joined together to perform for the first time. Lotus Bloom, Christina's first improv tribal student troupe, was born. Since that day, several students from Christina's classes have graced the stages of many Chicagoland bellydance shows, either with their classmates or as soloists. Today, students from three of Christina's classes perform as Eastern Bloom (tribal improv), La Groove Fatale (tribal fusion), and The Orient Express (Egyptian style). Eastern Groove Student Peformance Information can be found here. Eastern Groove Student Performance video and photo gallery can be found here. |
